PNP regular recurring benefit provided under the Act on Social Services, which is intended to cover the necessary assistance to registered providers of social services or close persons, or others.

Changes in 2011

  • 1 1st 2011 in connection with the adoption of austerity measures the government reduces the amount of the allowance for care in Tier I (Light dependent) for persons over 18 years, from 2000 CZK to 800 CZK
  • alteration of the PnP in Tier I shall not apply to persons under 18 years and remains of 3 000 CZK

Who allowance is intended to care?

  • for citizens who are due to poor health status, are dependent on the assistance of another person in self care and self
care of oneself means:
  • daily tasks associated with ensuring such or taking food, personal hygiene, dressing and moving, compliance with medication regimen, etc.
autonomy means:
  • operations, which enable it to participate in social life (eg, tasks associated with running a household, shopping, cleaning, preparing simple meals, communication skills, handling money, etc.)
  • post belongs to the person you should be cared for, not the person who provides care

PnP Who decides and what forms are needed?

  • PnP decide on social departments of municipal authorities of municipalities with extended powers ( http://portal.mpsv.cz/soc/ssl/local )
  • applicant must PnP complete the necessary forms - Application for the grant contribution to care and form - Notification of donors ( http://formulare.mpsv.cz/oksluzby/cs/welcome )
  • municipal authority with extended powers to issue decisions prepared by the medical opinion of the medical advisory service of the CSSA, the basis for the development of the health study, the current medical report and a written record of the social survey (new 1 1st 2011)

As the assessment in relation to the PnP done in practice?

  • social workers, municipal office with extended social survey carried out in the natural environment of the applicant for PnP
  • social worker investigates the extent to which an applicant for a PnP self-sufficient and capable of independent life
  • health assesses applicants for PnP LPS on the CSSA request of municipalities with extended powers
  • assessment taking into account the adverse health condition of the applicant and its functional impact on the ability to manage to care for oneself and self-sufficiency
  • on the findings of practical and professional practitioners, the result of social investigation, or function tests, the doctor LPS documentation DSSA evaluate and develop health assessment

What are the above PnP?

A) for persons under 18 years of age (in CZK / month)
  • 3000 (amount remains unchanged) for Level I - light dependency
  • 5000 , for II. grade - moderate dependence
  • 9000 for III. grade - heavy dependence
  • 12,000 for IV. stage - full dependency
B) For persons over 18 years of age (in CZK / month)
  • 800 (since 1st 1st 2011) for Level I - light dependency
  • 4 000 for II. grade - moderate dependence
  • 8000 for III. grade - heavy dependence
  • 12,000 for IV. stage - full dependency

What is the degree of dependence in people under 18 years of age?

  • I Go - light dependency (daily assistance or supervision for more than 4 acts of oneself and self-sufficiency)
  • II. Go - moderate dependence (daily assistance or supervision in more than 10 acts )
  • III. Go - heavy dependence (daily assistance or supervision during More than 15 acts )
  • IV. Go - full dependency (daily assistance or supervision in more than 20 acts )

What is the degree of dependence in individuals over 18 years of age?

  • Level I - light dependency (daily assistance or supervision in more than 12 acts of oneself and self-sufficiency)
  • II. Go - Medium heavy dependence (daily assistance or supervision in more than 18 acts )
